IrisGuard lead’s the world of biometric contact-free iris recognition payment technology with field implemented solutions in 11 countries since our formation 20 years ago.

We are expanding our sales and solutions particularly in the use of the cloud-based systems, for regular financial payments to the unbanked, IDP’s and refugees of the world.

We design and manufacture from the UK, with our systems and field deployments developed and maintained from our MEA office in Jordan. Our patented iris recognition hardware and software end-to-end solutions are deployed globally to facilitate ease of payment or personal entitlement and to date as a company we have processed nearly $1.5B in value using iris images.

 IrisGuard can verify an individual’s identity within seconds anywhere in the world from fixed windows stations, portable devices, ATM’s or our own android mobile, thereby authorising secure financial services. IrisGuard’s biometric technology enables financial inclusion for those at greatest need in a contact-free, respectful and non-intrusive way thus preventing the threat of fraudulent actions.

Our partners are the UNHCR, WFP and NGO’s in the humanitarian sector. We also engage directly with the major Government donor organisations in the UK, US and Europe and since the beginning of 2020 are taking our first light steps into the Latin American region from the US.

This is a challenging role within the company. Based in our Milton Keynes HQ office you will report to the Global Sales Director and have a sales support member as part of a small sales and marketing team spread across the UK, Jordan and the US.

About you

  • Motivated by closing deals and shaping the revenue success of the company.
  • Experience of complex solution and product sales within a technical company.
  • Experience of building alliances and partnerships with a range of organisations both governmental and commercial, sometimes on a long sales cycle.
  • Enjoy work across diverse cultural environments.
  • UK based but willing to travel globally to support sales and marketing if required.
  • Natural networker, socially adept relationship builder.
  • Passionate about our service - can energise clients, influence and get them interested in the technology and solution.

Key skills

  • 5 years minimum working as a Sales or Business Development executive.
  • Working with organisations within the Humanitarian or Payment sector’s both within and outside of the UK.
  • Working with governments as sales opportunity, both within and outside of the UK.
  • Proven achievement of revenue and sales targets and ability to reach and exceed those targets.
  • Ability to write bids and respond to tenders with associated standard IT office software.
  • Negotiation management.
  • Delivery of incremental revenue growth.
  • Experience of working across differing cultural environments.

Additional Useful Skills

  • Experience of working with Marketing to enable good communication and feedback to sales team and vice versa.
  • Familiarity and use of CRM software systems such as Salesforce.
  • Additional languages besides English.
  • Experience of mobile telecommunications industry or biometrics sector
