IrisGuard expand partnership with Cairo Amman Bank to revolutionize salary and aid payments in Jordan
London, 14th December 2023 – IrisGuard, the leading providers of iris payment solutions, announce expanded partnership with Cairo Amman Bank Jordan (CAB) to deploy IrisGuard’s EyePay® Network for unbanked salary assurance payments, aligning with Jordan’s economic reform plans.
The evolution of this partnership is pivotal in the advancement of financial inclusion for Jordanian and foreign workers, underscoring CAB’s dedication to harnessing cutting-edge technology to redefine novel financial services that drive economic growth.
IrisGuard’s extended partnership with CAB builds upon a longstanding strategic relationship dating to 2009, when the company successfully integrated its iris payment solutions with CAB’s ATM system, enabling efficient and targeted distribution of cash aid to Syrian refugees in Jordan. It has been widely recognized for its positive impact on the lives of beneficiaries and for protecting their entitlements.
The new deployment of the EyePay® Network further strengthens CAB’s position as a pioneer in the Jordanian banking sector and the global leadership in iris recognition solutions. It will enable CAB to securely and conveniently disburse salary payments, leveraging the power of iris recognition to eliminate the need for physical cards or PINs, enhance security, reduce fraud and streamline the payment process.
This enhanced partnership would not have been possible without the support of Jordan’s Ministry of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship (MODEE), who granted CAB the permissions to leverage the National Iris Database for financial inclusion and social impact.
